Sharpen your Edge takes you on a journey by using Kevin’s skating and entertainment stories and the metaphor of the ‘fine edge of a skate’ to improve leadership and communication skills (verbal and nonverbal), risk taking, responsibility and creativity, to name a few. It is the rhythmic flow between the two edges of a blade that offers you solutions to mentally, physically and emotionally glide mindfully through your personal and business world. E.g. when you step onto the ice you are risking mental and physical injury, loss of confidence, and even credibility. On the other hand, if you don’t take the risk by understanding the edge of your mind and body, you are more limited in reaching the pinnacle of success and high performance. Risk in this case is paramount to learning and developing greatness.
This keynote speech not only takes you on journey, but it gives you tips on how to Sharpen your Edge. The 45-minute speech is followed by a short 1.5 – 2 hour workshop utilizing the tips and metaphor to assist in your personal growth and excellence, leading you to high performance.
