2008: ‘Energia…the way the universe connects, 2 hours (cast 39 skaters)

Europe and Worldwide

  • Producer:  Holiday on Ice (budget 3.5million euros)

Functions: Head of creative team, created the concept and wrote the creative treatment, casting principle skaters, auditioning corps skaters, holding production meetings, consult on the design for the marketing tools (programs, poster, photos), attend press conferences, liaise with all the technical and creative departments.  Set and run the rehearsal schedule plus develop training classes.  Inspire team-building and leadership

"CLOSING CEREMONIES, ’88 CALGARY OLYMPIC GAMES" (cast 350) - CALGARY, CANADA

  • Director,  Choreographer
  • Producer:  OCO (budget $4million-CAN)
  • "Viewed by over 1 Billion People" TV / 60,000 Live

Functions: Head of creative team, auditioning and choreographing skaters on both sides of Canada, develop and write the creative treatment, liaise with the producer and all creative and technical departments.  Work with the TV director and develop a shooting script for him.   Stage the Coca Cola chorus from across Canada.  Choreograph a number involving all the past Canadian Olympic Figure Skating Medallists, organize and work with volunteers and hired ceremonies personnel.

“EDMONTON 2001, 8th IAAF World Athletic Championships”, (3500 performers)   EDMONTON, CANADA

  • Director – Opening and Closing Ceremonies Edmonton, Canada
  • Executive Producer:  Marti Kulich (Ceremonies) – (budget $2.9 millionCAN)
  • “Viewing by over 4 Billion People (TV) / 65,000 live

Functions: Head of creative team, teach choreographers the process of storyboarding and organizational skills for large events, develop and collaborate creative for the show, direct on field protocol, auditions, liaise between all ceremonies departments, direct and conceptualize the music composition, liaise and create storyboard with Host Broadcaster, involved in creative pitch.

1998:  "XOTIKA, Journey to the Heart",  2 hours (cast 55 skaters and acrobats)

  • Producer:  National Ice Theatre of Canada (budget $90K-CAN)

Functions: Inspired and conceptualized NITC non-profit company, created and conceived show, auditions, worked with composer, producer, co-writers, publicity, marketing, involved in all of areas of the producing/directing and choreographing show
