Focus

The coaching emphasis is not on your learned skills or competencies as you have learned through education and profession, but rather, focus on the HOW, WHY, WHAT of you and your profession.  In other words,

  • what is your purpose(vision), values, behaviours, beliefs
  • designing partnership agreements
  • what is your leadership style and how to you encourage the growth of leaders
  • how do you perform your functions, communications, relationships, build teams
  • why are you doing or being this role or function
  • what is trust to you and how important to you is it
  • how do you develop talent and retain it
  • is your strategy directly aligned with your vision and goals/targets
  • what is the agreement you create with yourself, your team, your boards

It is important to move to the passion in your world or the deep-seated reason what makes you tick, your uniqueness, which inspires to do what you want to do.

All Areas of Life

From past experience in coaching, when a coaching client works on one area of life – i.e. career, the ‘bleed-over’ to other areas of life is evident.  In other words, if you become aware and solve one area of blind spots it can strengthen many other areas of concern in other areas of your life.  This is what really creates mastery and excellence in life.  The circle of life!

Quote of the Week

  • Fun!!!!

'Whenever I have a problem, I just start to sing and realize that my voice is much worse than my problem'.

    Not sure who said this.

  • Forgiveness

'Forgiveness is the highest form of forgetting because it forgetting in spite of remembering',

    Paul Tillich

Wonderful thought - remembering is in the past - forgiveness is now in the present - it is conscious awareness alive and well.
