Ask yourself, ‘What is the reason(s) you would like to take on the challenge? Be very honest and clear!
For example, How many times have you made ‘resolutions’ at New Year and not fulfilled on them compared to what you have fulfilled upon? I would hazard to say that no very many. Most of us commit for a period of time and then if we are not having success, or something else distracts us, or you just get tired of your plan – then you find some reason or excuse to forget about it and let it go. How do you feel then? Give this some thought!
Most of the failure to come through on the ‘resolutions’ is due to not having a committed and well-thought out plan that is aligned with your inner being and purpose.
All the best-laid plans won’t have the power behind them unless they are aligned with a strong and committed purpose.
The 365-day challenge is Re creating Solutions not making Resolutions.
Length of Challenge – too LONG????
At first glance, you may say 365 days – that is way too long to achieve my goals. Change in attitude and behaviours take time. Yes time!!!! Did you know that it take a minimum of 21 consecutive days to change a habit?
We are in the ‘fast food’ culture of where we want it all now. Well, when aspects of your life are rooted deep inside of you in the form of beliefs and behaviours the ‘fast food’ philosophy is challenged and most likely won’t work.
Ask yourself, how long did it take for you to get where you are today and now want to create something else in your life, overnight? – I bet it has taken you many years perhaps your lifetime. Some change can happen very rapidly and some not, especially when connected to beliefs deep inside of you.
